Woodsy Owl is a symbolic character who began teaching children about the environment in 1970. Woodsy’s original message “Give a hoot, don’t pollute” was joined by his invitation to “Lend a hand, care for the land” in the late 1990s.

The Woodsy Owl Activity Guide offers 12 hands-on activities for children aged 5 to 8.
