Regulatory Commission of Alaska Seeks Comment
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) has taken a significant step to enhance sustainability of rural utilities by addressing a petition initiated by the Denali Commission to allow amortization of grant funded capital assets. Docket # R-04-004 is open for public comment until December 3, 2004. For more information click on the links below:

2005 Work Plan Teleconference
The Commissioners will be voting on the 2005 Work Plan on Thursday 14-October via teleconference at 9:30 am.

Public comment regarding the decision can be contributed during the teleconference by calling 907.271.1708.

Solid Waste Program: Request for Proposals
The Denali Commission received FY 2004 funding to address deficiencies in solid waste disposal sites which threaten to contaminate rural drinking water supplies. Communities and their technical partners can apply for funds in three categories. PROPOSAL DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 15, 2004.
