Subject content: Presents revised seasonally adjusted and unadjusted estimates of monthly merchant wholesalers' sales, inventories on a non-LIFO ("last in-first out") basis, and stock-sale ratios, by kind- of-business groups. Also provides unadjusted annual sales as well as annual purchases, gross margin and gross margin to sales ratios. The report is limited to merchant wholesalers; it excludes other types of wholesale trade, such as manufacturers sales branches and sales offices, agents, brokers and commission merchants. Data provided for the U.S. level and shows 3-digit kind of business data.
